Thanks Dr Bex for discussing the implications of the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Amendment Bill. Simeon's press release, as you rightly point out is concerning enough. Likewise the lack of balance in the reporting with reporters seeming to interview the press release.
I'm expecting the bill when introduced to generate even more concern than the press release. Hopefully, the Coalition doesn’t push through the bill under urgency! As I'm looking forward in some ways to writing another submission - not really, but feel compelled to doing so.
From the press release it seems the bill will contain amendments that will harm the Young-onset Dementia Community, and set back attempts to improve age-appropriate support and services for this community.

Yesterday I watched the Pathfinders episode on TVNZ1 about Lady Tureiti Moxon who leads Te Kahao in Hamilton. She was so proud of the establishment of the Māori Health Authority and is disgusted by what this government did to disestablish it and dismantle all pathways to improve Māori health.
One would be forgiven for thinking that this government is in some kind of competition with themselves to find the most onerous bills to introduce in Parliament to prove just how racist, sexist and antisocial they are!
I think that that’s what they meant by “getting back on track” all along. Like that re-elected MP for a Notth Shore electorate (can’t remember who it was) gloated about the “return of the stale, pale male” or something like that. He was gleeful. I think he had to apologize and walk it back, but it’s proved to be the essence of this horrid coalition.
🤢🤮 Could they be any MORE blatant about their anti-Maori agenda ⁉️ Those of us with an operating brain understand that when EVERYONE has the best chance of being healthy and productive, then the better it is for EVERYONE ELSE 🤷 Obvious to me that the rise of confident educated & fearless Maori advocating for equity & true observance of te Tiriti in recent times has put the wind up the "wealthy & sorted" and their backers - they can see their power to do whatever they want to enrich themselves diminishing unless they nip it in the bud/reverse progress on equity.
🤞 For a change of govt before too much more damage is done, and that Labour et al come in with a plan to address all this 💩💩💩 right at the start so there is a full parliamentary term to embed it 💪

My biggest question was why were Maori so heavily targetted by the depopulation injections and why they arent really pissed off now. If you want to understand why govt acts that way, simply refer to the technocracy doctrine where the wealthy push their science onto us in order to take control of the planet. Its all written up and well underway. They could not convince us to follow their doctrine so they created a giant circus around us to herd us into the technocratic pen. Everything they expoused in the 30s has come to pass. This is a corporate coup. 100 year fraud and we are all in danger as this, ultimately satanic/Godless mob attempt to close the prison door.
