Today, in my role as Co-Chair as Access Matters Aotearoa, I had the privilege of presenting the Access Matters Aotearoa submission on the Regulatory Systems (Government Processes) Amendment Bill.
👏 Managed to watch it "live" on delay - well done that woman! 👏(& team of course) - hoping everyone else will clip theirs for future reference, as there were some unique points & future outstanding leaders that came out of an otherwise abysmal process 🤷 A good resource for policy-makers on future legislation on many fronts 💪
BHN has just added Dr Gary Payinda to their podcast/YouTube channel & was asking for ideas for possible others - someone suggested a disability focus and I thought of YOU Dr Bex!!! I don't know how much time you have in your busy life to add such things, BUT even if you did the intro & let someone else each week discuss current topics or specific aspects of disability concern - leaving it out there ⁉️
Thank you - definitely open to it! Keeping these issues in front of people is super important, so easy to let it fall down the important list when so much is going on!
What an excellent presentation! Nga mihi x
All credit to the AMA Team :)
Excellent submission with a focus on the merits that regulation brings and a focus on human rights.
Thanks Paul

The sound isn't working for me.
Thanks Simon, it seems I cleverly managed to clip it sans sound - should all be fixed now though, whew! I shall blame end-of-the-day-itis.
